We specialise in smaller group tours so that we can focus on quality and service which bring a higher personal experience for you.
It also allows your Guide to interact with you on a more personal level which enables us to provide the best experience possible which in turn minimises the impact on the local wildlife.
About our equipment
We use "Open Canoes" (you may know these as Canadian Canoes) on our Tours . Our customer feedback has shown that these are the preferred vessel of choice for safety and stability on the river. They also provide more space than a Kayak and you are less likely to get wet! Another added bonus is they have the ability to take a 3rd person. We provide everything you need to have a great adventure. We have recently acquired Double and Single kayaks and many Sup Boards for hire.
The River Thames contains an incredible diversity in wildlife, from the smallest waterborne insects to an array of waterfowl, fish and mammals that live in the area. At CKA we consider ourselves fortunate in sharing this beautiful environment with so many species. Our philosophy is not to interrupt the natural behavior of the wildlife and we think of it as a privilege to view them in their natural habitat and have an insight into their daily lives.
Canoe Camping
We take the boats up River to meet you, where you can organise camping trips along the river, we can also supply tents if needed, We can also transport up to 6 people to your start point

N.B Cookham Lock camping site is Now Closed and may not open again. We are now using the Bounty Pub camping site near Cookham and you should phone them first for your camping pitch 01628 524451.
